The imperative for the legalisation of assisted suicide is the extreme and unbearable personal suffering which happens if a suicidal individual is forced to live. It is the lesson from my life. Suicide is the only thing which can save me from suffering more than I can endure. It is the only thing which can save victims of torture. It is the thing which the God of Christians would never allow to happen in hell because hell is not possible if the victims can access assisted suicide. If I’d died I’d have suffered much less. But I’ve lived to suffer much more suffering than anyone should endure. This is what happens if assisted suicide isn’t legal. It must be legal.
